Ok so here is part two of that article that I had read.

Idea #2: Buy those curvy cool new bulbs (CFLs). well actually they aren't that new. They've been out for a while now, but people still haven't switched over! Now they are kinda expensive but in the long run it really does save. On average they use 75% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs and last up to ten times longer. On Good Morning America I remember that they tested these bulbs and you could light up an entire house with CFL's with the energy that one regular bulbs uses up. According to the Yahoo! Finance article you could save up to $166.00 by changing 20 bulbs.
