Happy Geek Pride Day!!!

Peace,

And Happy International Geek Pride Day! Thats right, Geeks need a day to call their own so May 25th has been set aside. Why May 25th you ask? Well...

1) Its also Towel Day! Beginning May 25, 2001, Douglas Adams fans started the Towel Day tradition as a way of commemorating the infamous author of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

2) May 25, as it is The Glorious 25th of May from Pratchett’s novel, Discworld.

3) May 25 is also the anniversary of the first Star Wars movie.

4) This is the day geeks will one day take over the world

Ahmadinejad attacks the attacks of Sept. 11

This is a great article from Mike Green of the Huffington post...

Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, accused the United States of fabricating the facts regarding the attacks of Sept. 11, according to a March 6 report by The Associated Press. He claimed the U.S. government's official version is merely a "big lie" upon which the invasion of Afghanistan and the so-called war on terror was based.

"September 11 was a big lie and a pretext for the war on terror and a prelude to invading Afghanistan," Ahmadinejad said. He suggested the tragic events that unfolded at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania and New York were the result of a "complicated intelligence scenario and act."

The AP report failed to ask the obvious question: Is Ahmadinejad correct?

By any means necessary- Malik al-Shabazz- Malcolm X

Peace be upon you,

Many of the principals al-Hajj Malik al-Shabazz states here are still applicable today. If Muslims considered these while forming the visions for their organization we could benefit so much.
